Sift dry ingredients into a large bowl.
Mix in the butter to form crumbs.
Add in the strawberries.
Mix to combine. .
Pour in the buttermilk to form a soft, yet sticky dough.
Shape into a disk, slice into triangles. Brush tops with milk.
Space them apart onto a greased baking pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree celcius for 16- 20 minutes until golden brown.
Whisk the vanilla glaze ingredients into a silky smooth, pourable glaze.
Spoon vanilla glaze over, once the scones have cooled slightly.
Serve warm
